About Me
- Joseph Drake
- The author is a rooming house denizen, retired from working in public housing, and once was a community organizer, a faithful Catholic deeply concerned about social justice, a poet, a lover of films and folk music. As a voracious reader I understand C.S. Lewis's statement that we read so that we know we are not alone, but add that we write so that others know we are not alone. I uphold the journalists purpose to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. All correspondence is blogable unless you specifically request otherwise as this is a journalists prerogative. Entries in comments boxes are solely the responsibility of the person writing. I have no responsibility for comments to my blog, but reserve the right to delete comments and ban ranters . Be polite and I will allow the comments no matter what planet I think you come from. I do not allow anonymous posts because this invites spam and abuse, but an anonymous whistle blower may email me and expect confidence will be kept.
